The Meeting
Meera was completely busy with finishing her post graduation when her parents started talking about her marriage. Being a typical businessman, Meera’s father never allowed her to work. Despite of being a trained post graduate teacher Meera could not fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher. She was shattered and very angry with her parents but could not fight her dad. Meera’s mother as always consoled her and talked her about the meetings that would be planned to meet prospective boys as is the case in arrange marriages. Meera could not ever understand that how by meeting a boy for just about half n hour, you decide that whether or not you want to spend your life with him. How insane is that, Meera thought.
